OLD NEWS
October 5th, 2005
Thank you for visiting my new crazy thing from the future.
I hope you enjoy it. Come back for very important news flashes.
Right here!

Here's a terrible review for your reading pleasure.
I know I enjoyed it!

Here is a quick note about Fest 4:
Apparently the hangover/Sunday early afternoon acoustic slot
is for pass holders only. In other words, you cannot pay to see this one
individual show. It is outside though and I doubt you need
a pass to walk by real slow. If you're around and awake
you should come. I'm on at 12:25 pm! Josh goes on at 12:55!
See you there.

After a bit of confusion, new show dates are set.
My dream, however, to start a rock band
will have to rest for a little while longer.
School and recording for the Liza Kate full-length will be priority well into springtime.
A wintertime project is in the works,
but that's about all I'm at liberty to explain at this point.
Please visit here often and I will do my best to keep you posted.
Fest 4 brought good times, old and new faces and lots of pizza and beer.
It was a lot like most weekends with over
1,200 of your closest friends.
It was wonderful to learn what all of my friends have been up to.
One went to Africa, one is going soon,
one is getting married (well, I guess that's two -- to each other),
two of them already got married (again, to each other),
one bought a new car, one bought a new house, one was sick,
others were leaving for tour, some were on tour,
two of them came from Athens and woke up on time to see me play on Sunday,
a good number of them have graduated from college,
some have the same jobs, some have new ones,
some fell in love, some fell out of love, some have done both of these
many, many times since I've seen them last,
but they're hanging in there.
All in all, my friends are doing well and it was
amazing and perfect to see them.
That's all for now.
January 25th, 2006
It's a new year -- Pony and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary,
I celebrated New Year's by hanging out with Shelley (while she was "working"),
and now school is back in session, which is partly why my full-length isn't complete.
I know, I know -- I need to get
my priorities in order, but I'll be graduating in May (!)
--after that, I'll be out of excuses. This March I'll be going to Guatemala
with the Highland Support Project, April and May
should find me pulling my hair out writing papers
that have nothing to do with recording
and in June, I'll be joining my family for a week in the North Carolina mountains.
Our last family trip busted my nephew's eardrum, flipped my dad onto
his head in 3 feet of water,
kicked us out of where we were staying a day early
and scared us with car alarms
when we were looking for bears. We had to feed chickens twice a day too,
which was kind of weird.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to wonderful stories to tell in July.
I'm also hoping, though admittedly NOT committing enough time to planning,
to tour a bit this summer.
Hopefully with Bellafea, Des_Ark, and Bruce Springsteen (The Boss).
What else -- Oh, I added a little gallery to this site -
just a way to brag about all the cool places I've been to.
There are also more links on the links page to further help my quest
to appear worldly.
Peace out.

Redeemed in the Richmond way.
Thanks to Kate Bredimus for all the praise.
Here is a sweet little story about me.

Recuerdos
May 12th, 2006
School's out forever.
What will I do now? Well, so far I've chilled a lot.
I've read things I didn't have to. Went to sleep without setting an alarm.
Played Trivial Pursuit. Ate pizza. Went to a bacchelorette party and
watched a most intriguing film noir remake
of "Edward Scissorhands."
So far so good.
I've even tried finding friend's addresses
so that I can start writing to them again.
If you're a friend, why don't you send me your address.
I've only found 3 so far
and that just isn't enough.
So I'm a college graduate.
Weird.
I've added some more pictures and updated the show page.
Peace
