Juresko

Adam is one of my closest friends.
We met during my first visit here, but I had heard about him, through Jonny mostly, before I ever came.
He was so quiet - he kind of made me nervous.
I went on tour with his band Stop It!! just a few months later. He and I got along very well.
You kind of have to make your own fun when you're penned up in the back of a minivan with the weight of band equipment threatening to crush your skull while screaming down some highway. So, we made up crappy jokes that only we could laugh at: "Canoe believe that?" etc.
And we were good at it, obviously.
After tour, we became pen pals and then "an item" whenever I drove the 16 hours from Gainesville, or whenever he met a touring band that was (surely) on their way to Florida.
Soon, I found myself living in Richmond after which we quickly became roommates, then enemies (in a way), then buddies, and finally very, very close.
It took us a little bit to get here, but it has been worth it.
Today I got to take pictures of him for a new website.
I couldn't be more proud of him. Honestly.
He has an opening on August 3rd at Nonesuch. If you're in town, don't be square.
So, until the futuristic voyage into the wires of his computer is possible, I'll lead you to a few other links:
number one, number two, and number 3
